The BP-AccuGard – Digital Veterinary Oscillometric Blood Pressure System is a veterinary-specific blood pressure monitor designed for diagnostic, surgical, and procedural applications.
The system measures systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, mean arterial pressure (MAP), and heart rate using an oscillometric measurement method developed for veterinary patients.
Veterinary-specific algorithms and motion-tolerant software help support measurements in awake animals while maintaining reliable operation during anesthetized procedures.
BP-AccuGard provides both Manual and Automatic operating modes. In Manual Mode, the clinician initiates each measurement as needed. In Automatic Mode, repeat measurements can be taken at user-defined intervals for ongoing monitoring.
The system also performs automatic calculation of mean measurements across multiple readings, helping clinicians evaluate patient trends over time.
Selectable alarms provide additional monitoring support, while a quick alarm-silencing function allows efficient response during procedures.
BP-AccuGard can operate independently or be connected to a compatible computer through the optional Bluetooth USB interface and PC-Display software. The optional computer interface displays numerical measurements, real-time blood pressure waveforms, pressure oscillations, and trend graphs while measurements remain visible on the monitor.
A rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides a minimum of 18 hours of operation between charges.
The system includes six veterinary cuffs covering limb circumferences from 3.3 to 16.8 cm, supporting patients ranging from small kittens to large dogs.
