The Globalvets Bain Circuit is a veterinary non-rebreathing anesthesia circuit designed to provide a lightweight breathing pathway with low circuit resistance.
Its coaxial tube-within-a-tube design directs fresh gas toward the patient through the inner tube, while exhaled gas returns through the surrounding outer tube.
Because the circuit operates without a CO₂ absorber, appropriate fresh gas flow is required to minimize rebreathing of exhaled carbon dioxide.
The Bain configuration is commonly used in small-animal anesthesia and in situations where reduced breathing resistance and minimal apparatus dead space are desirable.
The circuit can be used for spontaneous breathing and manual ventilation when connected to a compatible veterinary anesthesia system.
Two circuit lengths are available to support different workstation layouts and procedural needs:
• 60 in / 152 cm
• 120 in / 305 cm
