The Globalvets Universal F Breathing Circuit is a veterinary rebreathing circuit designed to provide the functions of conventional inspiratory and expiratory breathing hoses within a single coaxial circuit assembly.
The system uses a tube-within-a-tube configuration. Inspired anesthetic gas travels toward the patient through the inner limb, while exhaled gas returns through the surrounding outer limb.
This configuration allows the warmer exhaled gas to transfer heat to the incoming inspired gas, helping reduce heat loss and improve humidification during anesthesia.
The single-limb configuration also helps reduce the amount of tubing surrounding the patient, providing a more streamlined connection between the patient and anesthesia machine.
The Universal F circuit is intended for use with compatible circle / rebreathing veterinary anesthesia systems and connects separately to the inspiratory and expiratory ports of the anesthesia machine.
Three circuit lengths are available to accommodate different workstation layouts and procedural requirements:
• 60 in / 152 cm
• 72 in / 183 cm
• 120 in / 305 cm
