The Globalvets VersaPro™ Large Animal Veterinary Anesthesia Machine is a comprehensive anesthesia support system designed specifically for large-animal surgical and procedural applications.
The system supports both spontaneous breathing and mechanically controlled ventilation, allowing clinicians to adapt anesthesia delivery to the respiratory requirements of the patient and procedure.
Independent oxygen and nitrous oxide precision flowmeters provide adjustable gas delivery from 0.2–5 LPM for each gas. Pin-indexed cylinder connections support secure gas-cylinder installation.
A dual vaporizer mounting system accommodates up to two compatible vaporizers, providing flexibility in anesthetic-agent configuration. Vaporizers are available separately.
The integrated large-animal breathing system uses 2 in breathing hoses and a 2 in patient wye, paired with a 15 L breathing bag to accommodate the respiratory volumes required for large patients. An optional 30 L breathing bag is also available.
Mechanical ventilation is provided through the Drager AVE ventilator, with an adjustable tidal volume range of 5–15 L and ventilation frequencies from 0–99 breaths per minute.
Multiple inspiratory-to-expiratory ratios are available to support different ventilation requirements, with extended-range I:E ratios offered as an option.
The breathing system incorporates unidirectional valves designed to minimize resistance and maintain directional gas flow. An absorber circuit pressure gauge provides a measurement range of -20 to 80 cmH₂O.
An adjustable APL / pop-off valve supports pressure control and manual ventilation, while waste anesthetic gas can be managed through compatible scavenging configurations.
Built on a balanced, mobile platform, the VersaPro™ Large Animal is designed to provide stability and maneuverability in demanding large-animal clinical environments.
