The Globalvets VLX-1000 Surgical Light is designed for veterinary operating rooms where accurate tissue visualization, adjustable illumination, shadow management, and flexible positioning directly support procedural performance.
With 110,000+ lux of surgical illumination, the VLX-1000 provides the intensity needed for detailed surgical fields and deeper operative work.
High color-rendering performance with CRI ≥95 and R9 ≥90 helps reproduce tissue and blood colors more naturally, supporting clearer differentiation between anatomical structures during surgery.
Three selectable color-temperature settings allow the surgical team to adjust the character of the illumination according to the procedure:
• 3800K ±300K
• 4400K ±300K
• 5000K ±300K
An electronically adjustable 130–160 mm light field allows the illuminated area to be matched more closely to incision size and procedural requirements.
A dedicated ENDO mode provides approximately 9,000 lux, allowing rapid transition to lower-intensity illumination during endoscopic or image-guided procedures where excessive ambient surgical light may interfere with visualization.
The light head incorporates a high-efficiency aluminum-alloy heat-dissipation system, helping manage LED operating temperature, reduce thermal load, and support consistent long-term performance.
Its streamlined housing is also designed to support laminar-flow operating environments, helping minimize airflow disruption around the surgical field.
A removable sterilizable positioning handle allows clinicians to reposition the light from within the sterile field.
The VLX-1000 is available in single-, dual-, and triple-head configurations, enabling clinics to select the amount of illumination coverage required for their surgical environment.
Multiple installation formats—including ceiling, wall, and mobile mounting—provide flexibility for new operating rooms, renovations, and procedure spaces with different structural requirements.
An optional 4K camera arm adds high-resolution surgical visualization for documentation, education, training, and remote viewing.
