The VetGard+ – Wireless Remote Patient Monitoring system is a multi-parameter veterinary patient monitor designed to transmit real-time measurements and waveforms wirelessly to a compatible Windows computer.
The base monitoring configuration supports ECG, heart rate, respiration, core body temperature, and SpO₂, with additional configurations available for non-invasive blood pressure and airway gas monitoring.
Optional airway-gas capabilities include monitoring of CO₂, O₂, N₂O, and anesthetic agents, allowing the system to expand as clinical monitoring requirements grow.
VetGard+ uses an omnidirectional Bluetooth wireless connection to transmit digital measurements, waveforms, and trends to a Windows-based computer. The wireless system provides a line-of-sight range of up to approximately 100 meters, with typical in-clinic operating distances of approximately 50–100 ft depending on walls and environmental conditions.
The PC-based interface allows users to view real-time waveforms, digital vital signs, trend graphs, alarms, ECG data, and stored patient episodes on a computer monitor or connected large display.
Patient data and waveforms can be automatically saved for later review, printed, emailed, or attached to compatible practice-management records.
A single computer can monitor up to seven VetGard+ systems simultaneously, allowing centralized monitoring of multiple surgical and recovery patients.
The system is designed for surgery, recovery, ICU telemetry, pre-surgical screening, and routine examinations.
Its modular architecture allows practices to purchase the monitoring capabilities they need initially and add additional parameters later without replacing the entire monitor.
