The Globalvets Expandable Y Breathing Circuit is a veterinary rebreathing circuit designed for applications where adjustable circuit length can improve patient positioning and anesthesia-workstation flexibility.
Unlike a fixed-length breathing circuit, the expandable tubing allows the system to extend from approximately 100 cm to 290 cm / 3.2 ft to 9.5 ft, providing additional reach when needed while remaining more compact when fully retracted.
The circuit uses a conventional Y configuration with separate inspiratory and expiratory limbs, maintaining distinct gas pathways between the anesthesia machine and patient.
This adjustable configuration can help accommodate different procedure-table positions, patient locations, and anesthesia-machine placements without requiring multiple fixed-length circuits.
